A Tropical Facelift

Nicole & Quentin’s New Kitchen A Tropical Facelift

We were approached by Nicola and Quentin to design a kitchen that would accommodate them, and 3 growing teenagers. It needed to be functional, practical, have plenty of storage space, work within the existing floor space and have plenty room to move. Not only that, it needed to work with and enhance the recent aesthetic changes that had been made to the surrounding space.

A space for family

Whilst working full time, both Nicola and Quentin wanted a space, where they could unwind with their family at the end of the day and spend valuable time together. The space we had to work with was a beautiful tropical open area, with plenty of airflow and a hint of tropical greenery in the background.

A beautiful kitchen solution

Working within a space such as open plan living can be a bit tricky – you don’t want the kitchen to be the focal point of that living area, but at the same time, you want your new kitchen to add to the environment it lives within.

After we met with Nicola and Quentin on site, we realised the space we had to work with was easily going to make the brief achievable. The client provided us with some finishes and a type of look they were after, and we guided them through the rest of the process.

We were able to deliver a kitchen that features Quantum Quartz white swirl tops, Laminex Burnished Wood Silk finish base cupboards and the stand out Juicy Green splashback, which helps to add to the tropical environment. With plenty of under bench storage, including the discreet placement of the microwave.

Modern and Functional

Bee's Creek Kitchen Modern and Functional

We know that the kitchen is the heart of the home, it is where we gather to share meals, conversations and memories. For this family, it was essential that we created an inviting place, without dominating the feel of the open space.
